It all started with the client's desire for a pavilion that would offer peace and quiet as well as facilitate encounters and symbolise a communal, spiritual place.
We placed two shed-like buildings opposite each other, connected by two narrow wall sections - one closed, the other open. The result is a courtyard reminiscent of monastery courtyards or farmyards in the countryside. One building serves as a stable for the sheep, the other as a place for people to linger.
The construction was made possible by the great commitment of the craftsmen and many volunteers. The pavilion was reused at another location after the exhibition.
