Built in 1955 by Walter Senn, the house with swimming pool extension from the 1960s is characterised by its typological clarity. The L-shaped villa type with a sequence of rooms consisting of dining room, hall and fireplace room along the ribbon window to the garden as well as the east-west orientated bedroom wing above at a right angle still fulfils today's ideas of middle-class living.
The only structural intervention is in the small-scale entrance situation: The formerly narrow vestibule was enlarged to form a vestibule. This provides equal access to the living spaces and the former swimming pool in the basement, which has been converted into a studio.
